Newcastle Bid £12M For Top Ivorian Striker 11:01 pm, Saturday, January 26th, 2013. The Sunday Telegraph is reporting that Newcastle are closing in on the £12M transfer of Vitesse striker Wilfried Bony. The Ivory Coast International joined the Dutch club in 2011 from Sparta Prague, and he is one of the in-form strikers in Europe this season having scoring 22 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions for Vitesse. His hoping. Attachments:

Which would you choose from Bony, Aubameyang and C Mans personal favourite Rocky Bullwinkle? Based on cost you would think Rocky would be the one for Mikey, however the signing of Bony is the one for me. Thoughts? WL

Wouldn't know who I would prefer.
Looks like we might not see either though. Maybe in the summer?
@msidouglas
#nufc have not bid £12m for Bony, according to my info. Might be interest but no offer on him.
Cisse will be given lions share of the striking responsibility in the run-in. No other striker joining, I don't think. #nufc
So nothing else expected, #nufc wise. Nothing at all in Wilfred Bony link. Quiet week. 5 players in: job now is to integrate them.
@lukeedwardstele
Reliably informed this morning that #nufc have finished their transfer business this month
@scottwilsonecho
As for #NUFC - I'd be dismissive of reports of £12m bids for strikers. All indications are that their business is done for the month.
@caulkinthetimes
To clarify: I'm told Bony not a target for #Nufc and I'm told that's them done for the month. Never say never, but that's what I believe.
Honestly believe #Nufc have completed their substantive business for the month. Certainly don't think another big striker on way.

In a hastily called press conference Sports Direct.com announced the addition of two new members of the Sports Direct family. Pictured from right to left are the following: Miss Vivian Vavoom, Miss Lisa Largejugs and they’re agent, Mr. C. Hadawayanshite. Miss Vavoom and Miss Largejugs are language experts hired to help with the recent influx of French speaking players for Newcastle United Football Club. Both are French and English speaking tutors hired on the recommendations from Headhunter Extraordinaire Mr. C. When questioned about the women’s qualifications Mr. C became quite prickly and denied these women had ever been employed in his other business venture LoneyGents.com an escort service. He went on to say, “listen the FCB called me up and inquired if had any French and English speaking gals in my agency. He said he had recently purchased a lot of froggies for his football team that needed to learn English as soon as possible. I’ve done business with Mike many times in the past, simple as that”. The girls tell me that the guy on the left has been stalking them for years. He has told them on several occasions in pigeon french that "size doesn't matter" but since being employed by Mike they "beg to differ". BTW. Broon thanks for the free plug for LonelyGents Agency. (Pity you misspelt it )
