Polly I think you are getting unnecessarily concerned. If he goes, he goes! There's nowt we can do about it as we all know who runs the show at SJP. The Fat Controller  will do as he pleases, however should it happen it is probably a great bit of business, financially. Whether it's that great in a football sense time will tell. Should he not go then we have Big Andy until the season ends, then hopefully once fit again he will do enough to keep us up. After that we are back to the guessing game. CWL  |

Err!................the press conference is cancelled!  Hearing reports Torres still in Liverpool.................... I reckon what is doing the rounds at the moment is either complete garbage or made up or both! Should NUFC announce to the media Andy C is going this afternoon as feared then the way it's being done is very much in keeping with our Owner and his cronies. Saturday against the Gooners will be fun that's for sure............... CWL |

As you know Newcastle have history of selling off the family jewels. Remember Beardsley, Waddle and the greatest of them all, Gasgoigne- It would be tragic if we were to lose a player who is turning heads all over the country just so the fat one can finance 30 evenings in a casino. I don't care what Torres is worth but should he go from Liverpool then I can understand Dagliesh being interested in Carroll.
