Thanks to a goal from Ronaldo the Portuguese take Marlene through to the semi-finals. Mrs Canny is now seeking the whereabouts of her husband who is allegedly with the French Team sorting out the bust up between Ben Arfa, Nasri and Blanc. Just in case the flight home needs to be a double booking. CWL

The NUFC wildcard continues to move ever closer to the final of this competition thanks to the might of Germany. Tonights encounter against Ann1 in the guise of a Greek side more determined to park the bus than attack, ending 4 - 2 in favour of the G-Men. CWL

Listen carefully as I shall only say this once. In the battle between the French Resistance and the Spanish Inquisition the darkness which is Canny fell to the Light 2 - 0. That now sets up the first semi-final between Marlene and CWL. CWL
