I can accept defeat after all im a toon supporter so im used to it but all this talk about Champions league has got the players in cloud cuckoo land. If you cannot hold Wigan on their home patch in the UK how on earth are you going to get a result anywhere in Europe...?? Get real, get the results first, keep your gobs tight shut, and show you can do it. Not talk the talk, walk the walk!!!

Well said Capt......not only the players been reading their news clippings but a lot of praise has been heaped on Pardew. It's his job to light a fire under their arses. Everyone of those players were a step slower than the Wiggans. And what was that comedy act between Krul and one of the defenders not taking charge when the ball was in the box? Hopefully a good dose of humbling will wake that bunch up.

Roma, the other team was ALOT better today. They are facing the drop zone and showed much more desire than black n whites. I think the feeling here is the lads were taking Wigan too lightly.

I can understand that broon we played a team right at the bottom the other week and they beat us, what a showing up We all thought mmm they're at the bottom we're ok .... wrong.

They played like Sunday League players! Wigan ran rings round us, they played like we did last week! Just hope they can find a bit of oomph for Chelsea on Wednesday!!

Have to agree Captain! First we saw Spuds and Harry Redcrap going all pearshaped after heaps of praise was placed on their heads and now we see cracks appearing after having become the golden boys of the premier league. Hope they all get their act together and turn in better performances against Chelsea and Man City.

I am not confident we will pick up any points from the remaining fixtures.
Wigan should have been the place to go where we had a chance albeit a difficult one.
It must be said that this season has been simply tremendous, nobody could say otherwise but just recently the talking has gone to their heads. The entertainers mark 2!! The pretenders yes, they have got a long way to catch up to Keegan`s and SBR sides.
Its all down to Ashley, whether he goes for it is open to question, he either sticks or he twists.(What do you think)?
