 Oh heck I might end up with Mrs Canny after me if I did that.;D I know Mrs. Canny quite well.....she's a very understanding women...........has to be puttin up with the likes of him........a saint really! She did recently, last summer, put her foot down and refused to attend anymore football matches with the lad as his behavior was more than even she could bear. She used to be our sober driver to watch Toon matches in Philadelpia. Canny had a tape of "Geordie was a Clubman" and we'd get good and pissed, play the song on the way home, and howl with delight. Last time he came here fer a night at Waldos I asked him to play it, said he'd lost it. I think Mrs. C threw it oot, she got to hate that song.............pity, I rather liked it ;D |
