Today is St George's Day, has been the centre of controversy. On one hand the PC brigade denounce it as divisive and jingoistic. The morons on the far right (trolls-R-us.com) have hijacked it as a symbol of pure white English value. This is strange when he was Turkish, but when has such people got it right.
What we should do is celebrate our freedom and democracy, for all English people of all colours and sexual orientation.
Maybe an extra bank holiday and like St Patrick's Day.....a good p*ss up.
