I just can't get enthusiastic about these elections.
After the General Election it feels that people power is a myth, and the status quo will always remain. No matter however, or whoever one votes for.

None of the parties are radical enough for me.....hence the apathy!

Radical? Maybe someone who isn't homogenised, and not spouting the soggy old party diatribe. In other words......nobody.

Well, I want someone who has different ideas....all the major parties seem too similar...I know there are the fringe parties...UKIP, English Democrats, Greens etc etc....I've voted for similar parties in the past but the three main parties hold sway. What do you do....plough through all the usual rhetoric....nothing really grabs my attention so maybe I become apathetic......same old, same old......things could be better but at least I think I'm doing OK. However for others it ain't so good.....for others things are going very well. I want something fresh but haven't heard it yet!

In my view you should always vote with your heart and not your head. When you start thinking about wasted votes and strategic voting, then your vote isnt honest and true. If we all voted with our heart then I think we would see a completely different political representation.
