Whilst I appreciate the wind up, CWL, I will explain that it is a resistance to: war; government cuts, welfare reform, NHS reform; the coalition government; pension cuts; racism; discrimination etc. and basically everything that right wing politics stand for. I am sure that you do know really, as COR is quite widely known, and I know that you appreciate a good "copy/paste, so: 1)It is a broad united national campaign against cuts and privatisation in our workplaces, community and welfare services, based on general agreement with the Founding Statement issued by Tony Benn in August 2010. 2. is linked to no particular political party, but committed to open working in a non-sectarian way with all organisations seeking to co-ordinate resistance; and is dedicated to supplementing, rather than supplanting, trade union, student, pensioner and community opposition to austerity measures. 3. is based on thousands of individual supporters, together with national unions, union branches, anti-cuts campaigns, student, pensioner, unemployed, youth and other organisations which affiliate. I hope this has explained things nicely for you. Guilty as charged, however with good grace Bansh you did explain it for the benefit of others which was actually my main aim. CWL

Yet again, another member of the armed forces has died from his injuries sustained from a road side bomb.
Too many body bags + nothing achieved = a deadly tragic waist of time and effort.
We need to get out, the sooner the better
This sort of sums it up!

Excellent Milk. Truly excellent. Says it all. There is always another way, isn't there? War should never be the first option. Violence is never the answer. I can understand when oppressed people sometimes see it as their only option when they are not listened to through political means. Oppression breeds violence. I'm not saying I agree with any violence, just that I can understand it. However what excuse do governments have? They have the power and the means to bring about change by non-violent means. There is never a justified reason for taking any single life, never mind thousands or millions of lives.
