We have a new Andy cole. what a striker on our hands and its bloody fantasist. I would never believed we would be where we are in the premiership with 7 games to go. well done AP you should be manger of the year. Well done the lads that must have been draining on the park today.  |

This game was yet another milestone in supporting the Toon for me. Pardew's tactics were well thought out....everybody defends and hit them on quick breaks. Cisse will get all the plaudits.......but not for me.........the other 10 players worked as a unit, shutting down a very good Swan team.........We only had around 35% possession in the game, yet never looked troubled........Perch again let their forwards know early on that he was going to tackle them hard....they didnt have the stomach....our defence was never troubled....the midfield reshaped every time Swansea switched their point of attack, so they went side to side all game. Our Forwards became forwards when the break was on , and the rest of the time helped out midfield and defence. It is a long time since I said this but.........I'm a believer!!!!!!!  We have a good team...no stars ...all playing for each other, and for the cause.....I cant remember the last time the Toon embarrassed me with poor play.....HTL!!! |

Good win! But I must say, I don't like the way Swansea play, I think it's boring!! They play like teams do, when they are winning with 5 mins to go and want to run the clock down!!
