Very mysterious Captain........but my first thought was he didnt want to score....then I dismissed that thought and never replaced it.......Only other reason would be any betting involved in him being the first to score..........very dangerous shite that though. |

Canny he was past Krul, all he had to do was knock it in but... I have watched it over and over again, the conclusion I came to was he did not want to score. Note also what he said to Pardew as he came off the pitch, "It was`nt a dive you ....... ...."!   ATB |

I watched the match replay and AC went down several time when he was barely touched trying to draw cards. I'll tell ya what there was smoke comin out of his ears and arse when Kenny pulled him off. Quite a temper, he he. I may watch the match again tonight, it was that good!!!!! |

Big thanks Capn.........now I'm of the opinion that he just botched the play. He went slightly wide to avoid Krul coming out and hopped over what he anticipated was gonna be a swipe by Krul. Then he landed both feet down but momentum carrying him forward and lost the ball. Maybe others here will watch it and give their thoughts..................If I'm correct the ref got wrong too and thats why he told Pardeux he didn't dive. Regardless a lot of Koppites pizzed off he cost more than our two Dembas!  |
