Anyone see the new "Titanic" series? I watched it, but didn't think much of it TBH. Don't think I'll bother watching it next week, as "Silent Witness" starts on BBC 1 at the same time. I think it would be very difficult to top the film anyway, it seems to be more about "class war" before WW1, as sort of "Downton Abbey" at sea!! Anyway I know the ending, the ship sinks!!

I watched the first episode of Titanic last week, and like you, didn't think a lot of it. Not as good as the movie. Actually I had forgot it was on tonight (thanks for the reminder) - I'll give it another go - if there isn't anything better to watch.
Also - thanks for the mention of Silent Witness, I'll keep an eye open for that. I loved that program, we might get it over here.

You'd probably be able to watch Silent Witness on BBC iplayer Patsie. The new series starts here next Sunday at 9pm

I think you can't beat the original old black & white film of the Titanic story although the recent colour version was well done and very sad at the end........sniff, sniff!  |
