Barclays Premier League clubs have submitted their squads for the remainder of the campaign. A club's squad can contain no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the Home Grown Player criteria and the remainder of the squad, up to a total of 25 players, must be Home Grown. The Premier League say: "A Home Grown Player means a player who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the Season during which he turns 21)." Under-21 players, who were born on or after January 1 in 1990, are eligible over the 25-player limit which explains why the likes of David de Gea, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kyle Walker aren't named for their respective Clubs. Here is The Toon's playing squad for the remainder of this season............... Why is Alan Smith in the squad..............off to the glue factory for him......via Milton Keynes List probably submitted before last minute deal completed with the MK Dons. Ladbrokes are releasing odds for first red card next week should he ever play a match. CWL  |

I hate when nufc fans mock Smith. He has contributed a lot during our relegation season by being one of the leaders on and off the pitch. He was one of our heroes of promotion. Sadly people like him, Shola, the Great Dane, Stevie the Legend Harper have all been forgotten by most. But not by the die hard fans like me .... Thank you Alan Smith.... You will be missed.

I hate when nufc fans mock Smith. He has contributed a lot during our relegation season by being one of the leaders on and off the pitch. He was one of our heroes of promotion. Sadly people like him, Shola, the Great Dane, Stevie the Legend Harper have all been forgotten by most. But not by the die hard fans like me .... Thank you Alan Smith.... You will be missed. Its another attention seeking attempt to fill the void created by having no friends,self doubt,self conciousness and lack of a old head to guide him through the trials and tribulations of young life. It is a shame, as in his early days on here, he was a good listener, and a damn good poster with really good points. Hell he even accepted your hospitality on his first visit to STJP.......... Somewhere along the way our feathered friend met a life changing event that converted him into what he is today...........sad...sad....sad....Miss the old Magpie. |

Anyone remember a poster - think he was on the Ronnie Forum- NumberOneFan or something - went much the same way with him in the end. Fekkwits, we used to call them. As for die hard? Erm Duh ;D ;D ;D Now it's time to go out for a swim..............!
