Im glad that steps are being taken to deal with this type of crime. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/men-found-guilty-of-handing-out-antihomosexuality-leaflets-6292446.html?origin=internalSearchWhen I lived in London it was my misfortune to come across some disgraceful leaflets advocating pretty much the same as these albeit on behalf of a white far right group. And I felt appalled that it was somehow ok for these to be distributed when it was clear that they were encouraging hatred. The simple fact is that its one thing to have your view on something-its an entirely different thing to go round trying to encourage violence and hatred towards a group of people just because you dont happen to agree with how they live their lives. Id like to see more prosecutions-and that includes those who think its funny to harrass people due to disability, race, religion as well as sexual orientation.

Yes, like you Shads, I hope this legislation will be used fully to combat this type of thing....otherwise other like minded "hate"groups will jump on the bandwagon to insidiously try to get their views across.

Dont know why people hate anyone. I can understand 'dislike' I dislike loads of people, ;D but I dont think I actually 'hate' anyone. I would always want to talk to anyone I disliked anyway, and communicate. Thats the only way forward. I dislike racists for their hatred. I dislike royalty for their assumption of respect and money. I dislike for REASONS, I cant undestand hatred of others for no reason other than of who they are. oh wait a minute...... I dislike Americans for exactly who they are, and all they apear to stand for. Guess that makes me just like all the other judgemental people. Whoops. ;D
