Shot this this morning, it's a bit blurred, Jazz will try and post a better one later. It's hundreds of baby spiders, they must have just "hatched" (or whatever they do!) They are no bigger than small seeds - with legs!! Fascinating to watch, if they fell off the web, they spun a bit of web and climbed back up!!!

But then people would start breeding pigeons that ate bird eating spiders! Let battle commence! A new video game!?

Spiders - friends - no way. I kill those little (sometimes big) things, every chance I get. Further up the chain are centipedes - you have to be really quick to get them.

Just saw this and it sent a shudder down my spine.
I have real thing about centipedes.
It comes from years back-I am not some wuss by the way-I grew up with a family who had a large garden and small centipedes along with woodlice etc were par for the course.
But nothing prepared me for the monster that came up out of the lino when I was living in Surrey Docks.
I was scrubbing the lino on my hands and knees in our rented student accomodation bathroom then this bloody massive orange centipede ran out-Im not kidding I screamed-and Ive been petrified of them ever since-even little ones-I'd take a spider any time of the day.

Just recently enountered a different spider in our basement. It has large spindly legs and a tiny little black "body". Easily killed - just remove slipper - and slap it. Wow - gone - no problem.
