Erroll Garner recorded a classic outside "Concert by the Sea" in California, 1955. All good tracks...very joyful & exuberant! www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUVQaNTzNKUand we all need joy & exuberance, especially in January! ;D

Now here's a funny thing, even a bit awesome. Christopher Tin's "Baba Yetu" which was written for the strategy game "Sid Meier's Civilization IV" from 2006. It was nominated for a Grammy recently, this is the first game song ever to have been nominated for a Grammy. Can anyone guess the language?

The lyrics isn't very original, it's the Lord's Prayer/Our Father but sung in Swahili. Well done Milky.

I'm fluent in many languages including rubbish. Now for one of my favourite Mozart pieces Doesn't the conductor look like Melvin Bragg!

Don't know what he looks like, he looked pretty funny though. Nice cheerful tune too.
More gaming from me, going back to the 8-bit sound though. This theme puts every other NES song to shame in my opinion.

Seb you know metal and heavy rock go great with gaming videos. I actually came to know about some great bands through watching loads of counter strike videos. Lagwagon, being my favourite.

Seb, having read your post above made me think about other songs covered by Bands or Artists. The track above is one I find hilarious as the original was so good, but love the video............... CWL My wife was a big fan of COF also classical music. I'd never heard of them until I met her. It was definitely WIO music.............to be played While I'm Out. The musics quite good but it's when screeching Danny starts it goes down hill.

Anyone who likes movie scores?
This one could have been for an epic adventure/fantasy movie. From the French metal band Fairyland, no whams or electric guitars in this one.
