Non metal from a metal band. Curse My Name. Like this one natt....an unusual mix of folk/rock....kind of like a Scottish military type of song....I can imagine Billy Connolly liking this when he has his "music" hat on.....Bonny Prince Charlie & all that! Thanks for posting it!

I'm on a Pink Floyd kick at the moment - working my way through their whole collection for the umpteenth time. Awesome music but not always so melodic. Echoes is a touch of genius. IMO.

I like Another Brick in the Wall with Pink Floyd. Indeed, orchestras and choirs are always fun. Rennaissance/folk rock next with the legendary Ritchie Blackmore on the guitar. It starts to come alive at two minutes.

It was ok that magpie I enjoyed listening to it. Bishop Allen songs are well written, dont drag on, melodious and are great to sing. If you liked that you might like these, Bishop Allen - Bishop Allen Drive www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxIvL0uGpocBishop Allen - Ghosts Are Good Company (sounded like a live version) www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yWV99uIE-gI have the the mp3 from their recorded album which sounds better. But this aint bad either. Bishop Allen - Shrinking Violet www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SvDF9TkFSQAgain a live version. The recorded version is definitely better. I personally love this song Listen in your own time. Enjoy

I might have a look on those too, magpie, but not now... maybe tomorrow.
Ann might remember these guys... though this time they won't burst out in soaring guitar awesomeness.

No problem Seb. Do listen to it when you're free. They're really good. And as always I listen to all music, so keep suggesting new bands / songs to me (and all) Cheers

This symphone was dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte by Beethoven and he wrote the dedication on the front of the manuscript. Beethoven changed his mind and considered Napoleon to be a ruthless tyrant and scribbled the dedication out. A truly magnificent piece of music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bh20xaB-2ks
