Have a great time lads on Wednesday. How i wish i could be there with you if only to put faces to names, maybe i will one day meet you all when and if i feel better. god bless you all.( And don't forget to have a spitfire on the bar for me.)  ( One for the money two for the show three to get ready now go man go.) Once again have a good UN. |

Just want to say it was a pleasure meeting all of the following on the night........Skintagain,Shadow,Jazz(the lighthouse keeper?),Ann,Fairsy andCWL.
Firstly Skint scared me with the number of turqouise foo foo drinks he had,and his voice never got any higher.
Shadow reminded me of a girlfriend I had a alot of years ago......she's all right.(would never crawl over her to get to you)
Ann kept me on the straight and narrow.(difficult the state I was in)
Jazz reminded us that without all the lighthouses he had closed, the world would be a brighter place. Also he was a beacon of light in his time before retirement.
Fairsy just wanted to wind up CWL all night, luckily I was there to stop it.
CWL......The personnification of cool.......even bought a round.
The game?....Fairsy woke me up at least twice. So I slept with the eye on Fairsy's side open.....I'm used to turning a blind eye with the Toon.
Seriously, had a hell of a time...laughed till I cried on one occasion(just saw the bill for my round)
Lets do it again......

The pleasure was all ours Canny Yes, next time you're over, we'll have to sort something out - and there might be more of us there, especially if it's a weekend, it's awful how work interferes with fun!! ;D

Just to throw in my to pennyworth - a most peasant day/evening - good job I stood up and looked out for others otherwise I'd still be sitting there on my own.  . Thanks to CWL for arranging tickets but next time make it one and a half - Canny slept through second half and couldn't see the first half because of the tall fella in front of him. Shame it came to such an abrupt end - another couple of pints would have been ideal. I owe Jazz We could try for a new meet towards end of season- I can get across pretty much any time. Oh well - off to the airport and frozen north. Laters |

Yes, it was a good afternoon/night.....nice to meet Fairsy and Canny for the first time.....great guys/blokes/chaps/gents.....take your pick! A pity Banshee couldn't make it but enjoyed our other regulars........any more takers for the monthly "meet"? |

the Stoke game is at home and near the end of the season and it's on a Saturday would be a great time for another meet and we should beat Stoke so it ticks a lot of the plus boxes, Bolton is another near the end of season game another one we should win but it's on a Monday, which ever game or date you choose ill try to attend.
