Joey Barton has been sentenced to serve three years in the second tier of English footballer.
The midfielder has signed for relegation-bound Queens Park Rangers and will enjoy a brief stint in the Premier League before seeing out his contract in The Championship.
And it could be days before the high-ranking Nazi lookalike moans about his lot on Twitter as The Rs will pursue several signings until the transfer window closes. Only then – when he looks around the dressing room – will Barton realise that life at Newcastle was not as tortuous as he had thought. Fn Classic! Joey twittered that it was all a mistake.......he thought QPR said Champions League, when in fact they said Championship......

Marky are you just saying that because QPR have signed Barton? I would have welcomed Joey staying until the end of his contract and even offered a new one, but it didn't happen. Barton is a good player, but like many other people also believe he will lose it sometime with both his new manager, team mates and Owner. The red mist will come down.................. Also it's been said many times before the FCB's personal fortune has no bearing on the financial situation at The Toon. I don't doubt he takes money out to further that fortune, however he set his stall out a long time ago about how much he was prepared to put in............. Quite why you believe Tony Fernandes will turn out to be any better than The Fat Controller baffles me.................... West Ham didn't want him anywhere near them when he came calling......... Whereas QPR's former money men Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore simply wanted to bail out. They certainly got plenty of money out of their combined investment very much as did Sir John Hall when the knacker we currently have turned up! Fernandes may well find out as Mikey did it's no bed of roses owning a Football Club. CWL

Treorio(spelling?)Arsenal etc.the difference is they REALLY are after these players.not all the broken promises and hot air and spin we ALWAYS get,and yes ,I wish Joey well.

I'll concede they are showing more commitment when it comes to signing players, but find it interesting what you are saying about QPR buying quality............ If the conversations I have had with fellow Mags this weekend and certainly after yesterdays game are anything to go by the quality you mention are mainly other teams rejects! Quite a few have stated had APee gone for them they would have been spitting blood. I guess that's what makes the game interesting to follow as quite a bit surrounding it is only opinion. CWL

One of QPR's new quality signings will not forget his last game for Arsenal that's for sure.................... Armand Traore was tormented all afternoon by Ashley Young during the 8 - 2 defeat by Manure! CWL

I agree it's a lot of money to have sitting on the bench, but they paid stupid prices for them in the first place...................... now they are stuck with several players and unable to even give some of them away. So which of Citeh's rejects would you take then?................. Adam Johnson is about the only lad I would have off them. As for Barton well I was pleased he finally showed what he could do in a black & white shirt................ The shame is he only did it for a season and a quarter out of his four year spell with the Toon. He's gone I'll live with it! CWL

If they're giving away Ballotelli, I'd take him. (He's on the bench isn't he?)

I see QPR are still after more quality signings......... Anton Ferdinand from the unwashed! Reckon for us it's Macheda on loan and one other decent forward actually signed if we are lucky. CWL
