Not a great Derby by anyone's standard but a great result. Robbed of a penalty (blatant hands by Larsson) - Nothing of the feared clash between Cattermole and Twitton. Yet again Collo a giant at the back.

Clattermole should have walked for the foul on Jonas.................. the guy is mental. Web bottled it like he did with a few other decisions or should that be none decisions during the game. Just as well we won otherwise not sure APee would have been quite so diplomatic during his post match interview. Bruce looked as if he just wanted to cry...................... all that crap about dominating the game................ we could have had at least three if not more goals by fulltime. They hit the bar from a speculative shot from Gyan and that was about it. CWL  |

My prediction of a 5-1 whooping by the unwashed is my gut feeling. I wont mind it because it will generate such venom Pardupe wont be able to breathe never mind bullshit. I thought he gave a good account of himself and was very diplomatic, but helped tremendously by the fact that his side had won the game. Had we lost or drawn I reckon the horrendous fouls from Clattermole, Bardsley and the handball incident involving Larsson would all have been highlighted. For me APee is not the problem although he can be irritating. It's still the lack of ambition displayed by our most benevolent Owner and the man he has put in day to day control of the Club, Lambsarse! APee is, like Hughton before him, simply doing his best with little or no backing from above. The main difference between him and Chris is that the guy on many occasions doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut! Now that you can consider harsh, but I stick by it regardless! CWL  |
