Okay guys and gals.....enough is enough.....This fn lunatic is past a joke. He obviously thinks he is way better than he actually is. We cant afford to run the risk of losing a man every game he plays. He cant resist aggro, its in his blood , and he's had his chance. Trouble is nobody will take him , even on a free........cause guess what...they have more sense than we do. I dont care if they never play him again. The guys a fn headcase. We're a laughing stock on this one as well.

Disagree...Barton is a f*****g legend....Gervinho is a diving c**t and deserved to be sent off one way or another....And who stamped on Barton! Had barton been the one to stamp on another player all would have been on his back! He did nothing wrong...A better player there never will be...Love the man...Love the player....Forever a legend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although I agree with you in the main Magpie, Barton DID do something wrong, he grabbed that Geronimo, when he shouldn't have, he should have left well alone!!! And he went down like a sack of spuds, with a small tap!!!! But must agree, if he'd have stamped on Song, all hell would have broke loose!! It's about time they had instant video replays for the refs, I'm sure it's not beyond the technological wizadry they can do these days!!

Ann, I'll conceede that perhaps Barton shouldn't have pulled Gervinho up like that but when Gervinho dived for a second time I felt the same frustration that Joey felt. Diving foreigners!!!!! It's so annoying to see that. And when slapped on the face Barton was right to go down. Any form of dissent by a fellow professional should go punished. I will say justice was delivered when Gervinho was sent off. He deserved it. BTW did you later see Song shake Barton's hand and make up??? That was guilt on Song's part....Dirty London bastards. The Arsenal fans think no end of themselves. Glad to see them fall and glad we started it with the 4-4! Barton was vindicated....He's a bloody legend the man!! and a great footballer

What do you mean youve found me out there......where, how, when? ?.......Wasn't aware anybody sucked up to me.....guess it'll be a new experience if I ever realize its happening.........the second sentence is a bit keyboard warriorship and threatening....should I be worried? Thought I had tried to be respectful and light hearted......now you tell me to swim on by.....thats easy.....thought last time you were complaining that nobody talked to you.....help me out I'm confused.

I have been doing a bit of reflecting about Mr Barton after the events over the weekend................ Joey is one of those players that if I was in the side I would be delighted to have in the trenches with me. Nothing phases the guy he is totally in his own little world and fortunately they all know him there. It's when he steps back into our world all hell can break loose. That said I clearly witnessed the two sides of him during the Arsenal match. The first and very positive reaction to a cynical piece of cowardly play from a fellow professional (Song) which could on another day have injured him badly. He brushed it off and even shook hands with the guy. Is that really the Barton we are all supposed to know so well? Then there's the dark side which comes down so quick it has to be seen to be believed at times. The incident with Gervinho was pure farce of the Barton variety. Don't get me wrong there were plenty of people around me at the game who would have done exactly the same in giving the Gooner a piece of their mind for a blatent attempt to win a penalty. Joey just did it with a bit more gusto........ being kind there, actually it was very heavy handed to say the least. The Angry Bird stuff on Twitter later was also pure entertainment. Love him or hate him one thing for sure the game would be far more dull without him in it. CWL

I agree,Barton is now singled out big style,if canny was there and actually saw the stick Joey has to endure,he get's no protection ,WHATSOEVER,I think his breaking point is quite high,a good player too.
