Joey Barton. Apparently he's available on a free. I just find the whole reaction to Barton`s tweeting pathetic although you do not have to think long and hard about it because thats the way the club is run, its got Ashley stamped all over it. In my mind they have used the tweeting excuse to try and shut him up. They have not given Enrique a free transfer have they? Why? One minute Joey is the bees knees , that is according to Pardew and then Beardsley said that he was a shining example to the kids. So what has changed? Although it was Enrique (or was it Nolan) who started questioning the way the club was holding on desperately to the Carroll cash claiming agents fees and under soil heating had eroded it away. (It does not take long to find that NUFC paid out 2.5 mil to agents and the heating cost 300k). This farce is all about recovering Ashley`s initial investment, they say that they want to follow the Arsenal model well that is total bullshit they cannot stop telling lies that is the crux of the matter. )  ATB |

lose a few games, i cant honestly see who we can beat apart fron Gateshead but they are not in the PL, oh well we might be surprised.

Seriously though hopefully things can be put to bed now, it will not be easy for someone as forthright as Joey to keep quiet but you never know. As far as new players coming in is concerned they seem to offer as low a transfer fee as possible or as low a wage as possible you will find it very difficult to bring players in without better incentives/conditions than they have already!
