Marky you are welcome to post your opinion yet I have never denied that from a management and hierarchy perspective NUFC is a mess. However as things stand how are NUFC weaker on the playing front? Appears your hatred of the Fat Man is blinding you to other factors.

Yes we need a striker (who doesn't in the PL) yet the only players to have gone is Nolan and Routledge. You trying to tell me Kevin didn't eventually go to The Hammers for the money and IMO Wayne was lucky to have ever played for us. The squad looks to have increased again by another player in Obertan although probably not everyone's choice to arrive.

As for the ramblings of Barton from where I sit they only benefit the player and just drag the name of NUFC further into the mud. For me that also includes the fans and not just our owner. Those tweets have as much true credibility as that of APee telling the daily Ashley propaganda to Lee Ryder........

Where are all the offers from Clubs chasing his signature as spouted by his agent? I don't exactly see them queing round SJP to snap him up. He may be a good footballer, but I still stand by what I said that he is short on engaging his brain at times.

There's still 22 days to go before the window closes and we can no longer sign anyone. Should by then Jose, Barton, no striker in, plus one or two others have been sold and not replaced then I will agree with NUFC being weaker.

Until then I shall carry on posting such guff as my opinion at least it will give us something to discuss.

CWL Lambsarse and Kev.N actually shook hands on a re-negotiated contract,lambsarse then reneged on the deal,everybody knows what despicable jumped up liars they are, I believe Nolan,you believe what you want.

Marky are you accusing me of being supercilious or what I have written? If so are you not being and doing exactly the same with the piece about Nolan in your post?

He may well have shook hands on a contract with Lambsarse, I don't know as I wasn't there. I'll certainly not take it as unequivocal truth just because it's printed in a newspaper. Either way true or not, I will stick to what I said in that he went to West Ham for the money, along with the length of contract they offered him.................... otherwise he would still be at The Toon. You clearly think differently.

I don't have an issue with that yet you appear to have an issue with my viewpoint.

I have never disputed that Wor Mikey and Lambsarse have been proven in a Court of Law to be liars in relation to a specific situation. However that also doesn't imply that everything they say is false or untrue, it's merely open to conjecture. You on the otherhand come across as taking everything they say as being a pack of lies.

As I stated previously you appear to me to let your hatred of The Fat Man and his cohorts blind you to other factors. Which gives a distinct impression to anyone reading your posts that there's nothing positive about The Club at all, something I just cannot accept. There's a lot more to NUFC than the Owner and hierarchy managing it.

This Owner and his regime may well be thought of by some supporters to be one of the most hated of any throughtout the history of NUFC. They are entitled to believe that if they wish and could well be correct. Personally I'm ambivalent to the whole situation as there's nothing I'm able or willing to do that can IMO change it.

However I have also supported The Toon through a lot of different Owners, Chairmen and Directors controlling this Club and one clear fact remains...................... not one of them has survived or continued forever, unlike the support.

I like a good moan just as much as the next supporter. Having followed The Toon for more years than it probably deserves considering what has been served up, yet also believe I have paid my dues so earned the right to tell it as I see it. I certainly don't expect everyone to agree with me, but at least respect what I say or challenge it. Then we can at least begin to understand where each side is coming from. I refuse to be silenced or put to scorn just because I may not hate Mikey as much as the next guy.

That is what these forums are about................... if we all agreed we would have bugger all to talk about and one of us would be redundant!
