Aye, Bansh, but why do we have domesticated animals at all? And it's not just males who urinate in shop doorways and are on the pull! If "bj" fathers loads of kittens then the odds are that they'll probably end up as strays or die quickly in some way. Thinking of it, though, watching the "Jeremy Kyle Show" illustrates to me that some of us humans are just as bad as cats or worse because we are supposed to be thinking animals!

im with Bansh on this one, i too think it is wrong to cut off a cats dangly bits to stop it spraying just so you can keep it as a pet, as i see it there are 3 things you can do , 1 let it spray but make sure yo have plenty of cleaning produts, 2 put nappies on it, or 3 dont gat a cat.

It's not just the spray though, tom cats that haven't been done are more prone to wandering, alright if you live in the country, but dangerous in urban areas. And they get very aggressive when there are females in season around. If no one got their cats neutered or spayed, we'd be overun with them, and that is not fair to the kittens. Men get vasectomies, it's only the same really Animals in the wild have natural predators, that keep the numbers down, domestic animals have no such thing, so we have to help things along!

I think you will find that if you asked men, they would consider the 2 methods not to be the same at all. They are very different, arent they?
