Its a long story fairs On Have Your Say alot of things were going on. We had alot of Antimuslim stuff-not discussions-I mean blatant offensive stuff.A regular weekend troll who came back again and again and again calling everyone every name under the sun and posting blatantly every weekend without fear of mods no matter how many times it was banned cos we had no weekend moderation. Personal arguements. Threats of violence. User Ids exposed. All of which should have been dealt with but unfortunately werent. At one point we noticed the NUFC section was having way more mod interaction etc than Have Your say and we did ask for more moderation but we never got a response. As I understand it-eventually so many T&Cs were being breached and legal action was being threatened that the mod-and my personal opinion here-but I do think it was literally was a mod-couldnt handle it and they shut the whole thing down. We have learned alot by seeing mistakes that were made and Im only sorry that you guys lost your section. On here the same mistakes wont be repeated. and a particular user.

Thanks for casting some light on the events. It could get nasty on the NUFC section at times but it was mostly namecalling and cyber handbags. All harmless really except for one or two WUMs who could be irritating but most of us learned to ignore them. There was, I am sure a problem with duplicate ids but most of us had that sussed.
The most irritating factor when they closed down the forum was that there was no prior warning which would have given us a chance organise ourselves, exchange epost adr. etc. Not a word!!!!!
Congrats to you and your team for creating what is turning into a pleasant place to be. Long may it continue and be a great success - Good that it pops up on Google now.

Thank you Fairs. One of my biggest issues with the shutdown was exactly the same as your own.We had no warning and no chance to exchange details with people we had been speaking to for years. Shoddy Id like to think that right now we're all part of the team trying to make this a success. And Id like to thank all of the people contributing now for making us feel that it really could be
