or whatever the Fairscup is called these days Could it be that Andy Carroll will in the not so distant future be playing in a final? Difficult to say after Liverpool's performance yesterday evening but if so then good luck to the lad.

It's called the Europa League now Fairsy................. You could well be correct and from watching last nights game Liverpool will need him if they are to get anywhere near the final. CWL

Decent game. Hugo Viana played for the home team and Andy Carroll on 30 mins for the Scousers. All lined up for cracking return match next week

Results from tonights return Europa League Cup Quarter Final ties.......
FC Twente 1 - 3 Villarreal...............the Spanish side go through to the Semil Finals 8 - 2 on aggregate.
Braga 0 - 0 Dynamo Kiev.............the Portugese side joining them after going through on the away goals rule after it ended 1 - 1 on aggregate.
PSV 2 - 2 Benfica.............the second of the Portugese sides to go through to the last four 6 -3 on aggregate.
Spartak Moscow 2 - 5 Porto...............making it three Portugese sides into the final four with a thumping away win and ending the tie 10 - 3 on aggregate.
