Chelski take on Copenhagen in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League tonight in the away leg. With the West End Boys not having such a good time recently in the PL and knocked out of the FA Cup by Everton, this is going to be another test for them and their under pressure manager Ancelotti. Mind you Copenhagen have not played a competitive match for nearly two months since their last Champions League game. That said they will be fired up for this one as it's being described in Denmark as being the biggest game of the Clubs history. Could be a shock on the cards I think................ In the other game tonight Lyon take on Real Madrid in a repeat of last seasons Champions League fixture. Lyon on that occasion managed to knock Real out and progressed to the Semi-finals. Real will equally be determined to make it past them and into the last 16. That said I was amazed to read it is something they have failed to do for the last six seasons. Will the special one and his team do the business or is another upset on the cards? I fancy this to be a cracker of a game this evening. CWL

Well no shock in the Chelski game with them running out comfortable 2 - 0 winners away in the first leg. Lyon and Real Madrid ended up all square 1 - 1 after their first leg game. CWL

The best side won - No surprises there.
Silly first card for van Persi. He could be excused for the second considering the noise in the stadium and one second from whistle to ball being kicked. Barcelona wee brilliant and would have won against 11 men anyway.

It is no disgrace in my mind to lose to the best footballing side in the world. Manure aren't exactly setting the world on fire at the moment so the cup game can go both ways. Both are wounded animals right now so it may well be a heated exchange. I'm off to Berlin at the weekend so I'm sorry I'll miss the game.

The Spurs Milan game ended 0 - 0 at White Hart Lane so the North London side go through to the quarter finals 1 - 0 on aggregate. Very resolute display against arguably technically superior opposition. Still they held out for the victory which was well earned on the back of that performance and goal away in Milan. In the other tie Schalke won 3- 1 on the night against Valencia to also go through into the quarter finals 4 - 2 on aggregate. CWL

Manure 2 - 1 Marseille, Hernadez with both goals 5, 75 & Brown OG 83, Full Time at Old Trafford. The home team now going on to join Spurs as Premier League representatives in the Champions League quarter finals. In the other game played tonight the score ended Bayern 2 - 3 Inter. A terrific fight back by the Italian side who go through on the away goals rule following the 3 - 3 aggregate result. CWL
