Any idea if it will be available on BBC iPlayer tomorrow? Just not sure I can stay awake for the next four or five hours to watch the game. One of the few times where I will be happy no matter who wins as I like both teams. Now if the 49ers had reached the final it would have been different. CWL

Yes they will keep it on the iplayer. Cheers Magpie, it's on for the next six days under Sport. Green Bay were the victors taking the trophy again although 14 years have elapsed since they did it the last time. Not that I think that will bother the Cheeseheads during their celebrations. CWL

I watched the first half. Packers were leading 21-10. It ended 31-25 I think.
Aaron Rodgers was throwing very well. Although his other number Roethilsberger was carrying an injury. Besides the Steelers didn't get their running game going and were resorting to throwing on downs 1 and 2 and this resulted in two interceptions and packer TDs.
I will have to watch the second half tonight as mate in the US tells me it was very good. Packers deserved winners and Rodgers has filled in the boots of Favre rather easily.

Had a very pleasant afternoon today watching it........................all fours hours plus! You really appreciate iPlayer when something like this is on. Skip past all the stoppages and it's an enthralling game. A whole lot shorter as well....................... CWL

Black Eye Peas..........
The best bit for me was a three or four minute montage of the season. Had some great footage from games and coverage of them. Don't know what the music was they had playing over the sequence of shots, but it complimented the video perfectly.

It is a great show I must admit. But for goodness sake FOOTBALL is what we play. That's American Football

Our game could learn a hell of a lot from the Americans when it comes to running a spectator sport. Can't imagine a PL Football Club offering a family four seats at about £50 for the lot just to get people inside the ground rather than have it half full or should that be empty! I'm also a big fan of the draft system...................but very doubtful that could work over here. Mainly because we don't have a college football set up which produces players. The Clubs do it themselves or at least try to. CWL

But I've sort of lost touch with A Football and basketball. I used to follow the NBA very keenly with the Dallas Mavericks being my team. You got any favs CWL?

Boston Celtics for BB, 49er's in the NFL................don't have a favourite baseball team as just unable to get into the game. If we had the coverage they get in the States then I would probably take more of an interest. Same goes for the ice hockey.

I never got into baseball though it is the fav american past time. I was a proper supporter of the Mavericks. Never found a team in the NFL so just watched it as a neutral

I do find it strange that when I have discussed Baseball with Americans they appear to be more interested in the stats than the game as a spectacle. Bit like your Polish friend was with the football. Not my idea of fun................you may as well watch the grass grow! CWL
