The President of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos, has been given the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to bring about peace in Colombia. Does he deserve the prize?

I see him as the perfect recipient. His presidency has seen meaningful negotiations with FARC, and making inroads into drug cartel based corruption. This of course opens himself, and him family to personal danger.
It's a thankless job, as corruption is ingrained throughout the government, police and armed forces. I hope he can last long enough to make a real and lasting difference, as he most be at the top of many peoples hit list. I also hope he can be an inspiration to other South American countries.

I saw him on the Sunday Politics Show yesterday, he came across as a intelligent and moral man. His dress sense wasn't that good. Blue suit, blue shirt and tie and brown shoes. I know that's irrelevant, but just thought I'd mention it

I (and everyone else I suspect) can do without his brand of childish diatribe and negativity. The only alternative was to leave, and I have no intention of doing that, so I can leave my options open.

If MissSourmilky has blocked my posts i will be delighted, he cant back up claims when challenged and never provides evidence to anything when asked so i wont have nonsense replies.
