Bob Dylan has been given the Nobel Literature Prize for the lyrics that he has written for his songs. Does he deserve it?

Absolutely! OK, he's not the greatest voice, but his music, and also his brilliant lyrics more than qualify him. Changed a whole generation of people (including me) and put a chill down the back of there parents (including mine) to question values of the status quo.
When you think of the people who have been honoured, and subsequently found to be undeserving and evil, Dylan (Robert Zimmerman) is more than qualified.

Yes nickk i think he does deserve it, i do think some people have got a bit mixed up though and don't realise this is a Nobel Literature prize, i cant think of any past winners of this prize that were found to be undeserving and evil.

As you will no doubt have realised Nick, my phrase (undeserving and evil) was a general term for all awards and honours, where there are many examples of this concept.
I thought that was obvious, but apparently not!
