MissSourmilky According to some economists the 20% drop against the dollar and even bigger slide against the euro is a good thing, boosting exports and deterring the consumption of increasingly expensive imports. This gives manufacturing sales a lift and helps the balance of payments, which is in a significant deficit currently. It is also hoped that holidaymakers will want to stay at home, spending their money in British resorts and not continental destinations.
The pound also dropped to be on parity with the dollar in the mid 1980s so a big fall is not a new thing, we all or should i say most of us knew the first couple of years after brexit would be difficult.

MissSourmily where do you get you're info from, the Ladybird book of scaremongering, imports and exports is not the reason for a low pound it is all to do with big businesses and their investors who were strong remain voters and have chose other currencies as a sort of tit for tat reaction, this is because brexit could mean the end of cheap immigrant labor, cash in hand £1 to £3 per hour not on books, it is a sort of spoilt bastard reaction, if immigrants have to have a job waiting for them before entering the UK then these big businesses will have to pay proper wages, the businesses involved are members of CBI, these businesses will soon revert back to sterling as price increases due too their actions will reduce public spending and reduce their income/profits, as for import tariffs due to brexit nothing has been set yet.

MissSourmilky it is ludicrous you suggesting you know more than me, Nissan and other Japanese businesses within the UK and the Japanese Government have handed a document of 170 questions regarding brexit to our Government, they have asked that at least one question a day is answered.

MissSourmilky the Nissan boss met TM today and this is part of what was said.
The future of thousands of jobs at Nissan’s Sunderland car plant looks more certain after company boss Carlos Ghosn said he was confident the UK will remain a “competitive place to do business”.
The positive statement came after Mr Ghosn met with Theresa May on Friday to discuss ‘assurances’ the company had demanded after Britain voted to leave the EU.

MissSourmilky India is an Asian nation and has little in common with European sensibilities and culture, EU also has many stringent rules on labour laws India would not adopt these laws, there is more chance of mars becoming a member of the EU, and again i ask what is notiations.

MissSourmilky i chose that piece of music because it was titled no notiations, i thought i would use a music piece to try and get my point over there is no such word as notiations, it is a word you used but have been unable to tell me what it means so here is what i think it means, you haven't got a f*****g clue what you are writing.
