I've sent in my postal vote in today. I am a floating voter and this General Election as at the last one..............easier to make a case for not voting than for all parties rather than voting for any. Last election I voted for the Lib/Dems, which seemed a good at the time, but Clegg and other Lib/Dem were happier to keep their feet the cabinet table rather than fight for his promises. Their biggest U-Turn a promise to end university fee, yet supported a a £6000 p.a. rise. I would like many others, will never vote for him/them again.
This time I've voted Labour, although I not too convinced about Miliband. I will soon be 66 and my wife is 62, and the biggest issue is the NHS. I have noticed it's over the last five years the strain and pressure to almost breaking point, and the NHS wasn't an issue in 2010.
According the spin I'll be £1000 p.a. better off with Labour, and £1300 better off with the Torys. I don't really care, and what's the point in being better off if we can't get good heath care.
I don't believe what any politician says, but take a look any night/day in the RVI A&E, or try to get to see a GP the same day.............It's impossible! Things need to change and I believe the best way forward for the NHS is with Labour.
All other parties are a distraction and an irrelevance, and a vote for them is a wasted vote.
