Tomorrow Israel has parliamentary elections. Will current Prime Minister Netanyahu of the Likud Party emerge victorious or will Isaac Herzog, leader of the Labour Party, become Prime Minister, with a coalition called the Zionist Union. Herzog claims to support the two-state solution. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Herzog

I watched Netanyahu address to the USA Congress whilst on holiday, CNN ran it live. I was obviously aimed at the imminent Israel election rather than America.
He raised some salient points, yet I did feel it was over hawkish. CNN pointed out there were large parts his address had been taken from the address of 2011.
From what a can gather, people trust Netanyahu with security more than the economy, and the opposite applies with Herzog. Unlike our election it could be interesting.

Just goes to show how unreliable opinion polls are. every poll had Herzog ahead. In the end, it seems the people of Israel trust Netanyahu for their security in these uncertain time, and who can blame them. 72% turn out, no excuses for anyone.
