On Natts location he has a small "o" over smaland.And I wonder how you do this.On previous discussions Ive posted up German words also but dont know how to do umlauts-two little dots that go over certain vowels.
How do I do this?

that button+any other button like "u" for example makes a ü, that button+shift+u= Ü

Testing it out right now. I cant do it Those three things arent on one button theyre on three seperate buttons. If I press the " button and u I get quotations to the side And displaying my shocking ignorance here-which ones the shift button .

My keyboard hasn't got the dots on them, only this way : Some Welsh words have a ^ on them, same thing as umlauts.

They are, Fairsy can make Danish and Norweigan Ös (Ø ) but I can't... unless I change the layout in windows.

Lol-now its all starting to make sense. You know it never even occured to me until now that they would be different. How presumptious and arrogant is that Ive got much to learn I think

You can do it like this: Open the control panel, open the national and language options, choose the "Language" tab on the window, click on information, here you can add and remove language layouts for the keyboard. Once you've added the ones you want you just click ok. You can change the language in the right down corner on the screen, should be "EN" down there, clicking on that you can change the language on the keyboard. Left Alt+Shift will also change it... now you only need to figure out where the buttons are.... try around the enter button.

Natt-I will try it-but probably not tonight as Im flagging a bit now and thoughts of taking on the control panel are sending shutters down in my brain right now lol. I'm determined to learn how to do it tho-watch this space
