Yes our predecessors have done evil, but we look back on those acts as wrong now don't we? We used to burn women we thought were witches, but we would be shocked if someone done that now. So I think shock at this act is understandable. |

Not sure - There was a time when the old and disabled were treated with respect and off limits, it was an unwritten code that even the worst criminals would obey. Now they are regarded as easy targets.
That of course was before the introduction of drugs to society.
