my birthday is not until the end of July, as for the pre decimal coinage i dont think Destination will accept it .

Don't know about that, skint....isn't one of those old pennies...a certain date, worth a fortune ...1850 or thereabouts...I'm off to check! Then off to that shop in Mosley Street....Corbitts I think it is, to cash it in! (wishful thinking!)

Theres supposed to be some recent coin worth a canny bit too.Think its the two pence-pre 1983 they were supposed to say New pence-afterward it was Two pence.But there was a rogue batch issued with the New Pence stamp;)

Okay so if you have never been to one of these meets here is how you find the Renegades.............. They will be outside in the cold at a table with very full ash trays. Said table also covered in feathers along with an assortment of two pence pieces being scrutinised under a magnifying glass by a group of people looking as if they are totally lost. Anyone not outside will be warm in the bar watching the football. Simples........... CWL

went to Chester lE Street about 10.30 and seen a few cars with snow on them then when giving my son a lift to work at 1.45 seen a few more, anyway the good news is the kids are off for a week so no school runs, and the bad news is the kids are off for a week .
