guilty or innocent? although i understand his defense, with the murder rate against whitey and those darkies being the animals they are. i just think he used that as an excuse. A black woman judging a white man! Oh dear, Stan's worst nightmare on the news every night. |

What is fascinating about the Pistorius case is, he a white man is being judged by a coloured woman in South Africa. It's not that many years that this would have been unthinkable.
No wonder it touches a nerve of the white supremacists, and initiates the breakout of righteous indignation, and a humour by-pass. I find this amusing....................but that's just me.
I do agree, I have no interest in what, and with whom celebrities are sleeping with, or who's made an arse of themselves on a wild night out.

Though I do worry that as much attention to detail by the courts would not have been applied to an unknown woman from say Wallsend, who was killed by her non famous partner. Take away the fame and could he possibly be just another bloke who lost it and killed his partner? 2 women a week are killed by their partners or ex partners. The end usually after a long running history of bullying, intimidation and violence. Even without violence, there would have been a history of harassment, stalking, and controlling behaviour. A lot of the men being viewed by their mates and work mates as quiet, gentle people.

Being famous can be a two edged sword, quite often resulting in trail by media. I do agree, he didn't just shot her 'out of the blue' or 'on a whim' Reading and watching the trail, there seems to be over sometime an escalation of violence over a long period, which unfortunately she can no longer attest to. As with many cases of domestic violence many incidences go unreported.
It does appear all the evidence, all the factual, forensic and circumstantial evidence seem to point to his guilt. So metaphorically, evidentially and euphemistically he's "Stumped" and "Not a leg to stand on"
It seems strange that Stan jumped up and down in righteous indignation when I referred to his legs (or the lack of them). It appears to be OK to shot his girl friend, which is unforgivable no matter how many legs you have, or have not.
Maybe if he as concerned about people being murdered, he wouldn't have been as unenthusiastic about solving the murder of Stephen Lawrence, by an inherently racist and corrupt Met Police. Of course nothing to do with the fact that he's black.........................
