Amazing to think that Alan Pardew has been at Newcastle United for three years and just over two weeks longer than this Forum has been in existence. During that period The Mags have won away at mega bucks Chelsea (Twice) and most recently of all ended a forty-one year barren spell with victory at Old Trafford. The highs have been a fifth place finish and return to European competition. While the lows have been a flirtation with relegation, defeat at SJP to the Mackems, a historical thumping six nil off The Red Scousers, again at SJP in front of The Toon Army and some forgettable domestic Cup exits. The Manager has split opinion among fans almost as much as our beloved owner does regarding his running of the Club. Yet despite everything both are still here and don't appear to be leaving anytime soon. One thing for sure the most abiding memory I will retain of APee's tenure is this classic line from Captain M that no matter what happens, yes you guessed it... 'It's all Pardew's fault'! Capt'n I fear Uncanny has morphed into the Mourinho of the forum..............mind games...no one knows what's next. The return of the smite option seems to have reinvigorated him,oh dear :P It appears to me the latest incarnation of the secret smiter is a cross between the singer out of Simple Minds (very apt) and a character out of the film Highlander. As I power my way back to re-employment, the new blood coursing through my veins is laced with portions of smiting, rejuvenism , mischief and sexual innuendos............I have indeed lost the plot...but never had one anyway..........Such is the free spirit as it pushes through life looking for kicks and always looking in the mirror and laughing at oneself and life.
I have joined with the Toon in spirit, and will rise up to greatness and recognition again, as they will.
And you know.................................................Its all Pardews fault!
