Following a catch up day on all things Toon related, been reading some amazing stuff about Colo's missus.
As a new member to the Crazy Bird fraternity on Twitter I must admit to not following Mrs Colo, but on reading what she has tweeted recently I may join those that are already doing so. Appears she is trying to rival the musings of a certain French madman, footballing genius and former player for Manure in the totally bizarre quotations stakes.
Needless to say the media have jumped all over this creating a mass of speculation once again regarding the future of The Toon's skipper. What did surprise me somewhat is that it is being reported she has only recently returned to Argentina (and there was me thinking she had gone home with the kids last January).
Not that it matters much compared to the series of tweets posted in Spanish by Natalia Coloccini, which having been translated into English, may well indicate she isn't on the planet never mind across the Atlantic. Then again you have to admire the way the football media in this country describe such things as proving to be deep and emotional messages, seemingly aimed at her husband. Rather than a total load of nonsense which they have latched on to in an effort to find a story.
As anyone with the slightest interest in The Toon knows life in England appeared to go sour for the Coloccini family earlier this year. Perhaps it was all those invites from The Toon army every week to s**g other women that had an affect on his marriage. Anyway more recently a series of heartfelt messages have been appearing on the Magpies defenders wife’s page, hinting why she may have left.
One of the tweets reads: “The heart always has a limit when the heart says enough there is no going back”, while another one says: “We ignored each other until we became strangers with shared memories.”
Earlier tweets show pictures of the couple looking happy together with their children, however the tone of the messages appears to have changed.
Another one reads: “These are my wings, just have to fly, let go of things that no longer belong to you.
“My heart is hanging from your hands.”
Another says: “I love him even though I know I have to forget him I’m frightened to think about life without him, so many years good or bad I cannot change them.”
Natalia’s recent activity on Twitter comes some eleven months after reports earlier this year stated that Coloccini wanted to depart the North East. Mind you there have been more whispers over the past week or so of Colo once again wanting to bugger off back to Argentina. Amazing that this surfaces now just as the team have put together a four game unbeaten run during November. Coincidence...umm! I think not!
Whatever is behind this I still reckon Natalia has some way to go to beat Cantona though...
Lights Oot!
