do you know there is a prayer room at the training ground for the muslims?. get shot i say. The above was posted earlier today on this thread by member standanders. Unfortunately due to human error it was inadvertently removed and the original details of the poster lost in the process. I have however managed to recover what the post contained and that is the above. With that lot out of the way it does beg the question why would you want to get rid of a prayer room at the training ground? Mikey short of space to store new kit from Puma? Lights Oot!  I think the fans are the ones who need a prayer room!! ;D ;D   ATB |

why would you want a prayer room.
isn't it a football club.
would jackie milburn approve of a prayer room.
what happens if all our players are muslim.
will they dictate who can sponsor us?
will ramadan affect our form?.
i lost faith in nufc some time ago, but at least we had an english basis.
now, we aint even got english, european or christian basis.
relegation this year is a reality

So in decending order... why would you want a prayer room. From the way this is worded I take it as aiming for a personal response so here is mine. Why not have a Prayer Room? but an innocent post is removed. just for mentioning a prayer room at the trainig ground.
anyway, back to cisse.
an average player who is making a stance for his religion as he says.
who plays in the premier league sponsored by carling (alcohol) which muslims don't agree with.
and gambles, which muslims don't agree with.
and now presumably will wear the wonga logo.
shows he has little credibility.

You're going to have to accept that situation whether you like it or not! You are also entitled to post your opinion even if it is one that Admin and Mods do not agree with. However that opinion must fall within the T&C's as prescribed by Pro Boards. You tread a very fine line when it comes to that aspect. Membership of Renegades is not a right, it can be revoked. Now speaking as a Toon supporter... Is this the best you can come up with to get Newcastle supporters backs up? Hells teeth I have called players worse over the years for missing scoring chances or letting in daft goals costing the team valuable points. As many fans would possibly agree with you as disagree about Cisse being an average player. Yet one thing they would all agree on, barring colour prejudiced bigots and racists like you, as a Newcastle United player he get's their backing every time he pulls on the shirt for a game at SJP. Be it covered in Wonga, Carling, Barcleys or any other advertising or sponsors crap. As for credibility well your lacking in quite a bit of it yourself, compared to other supporters that post, when it comes to discussing The Toon. Cisse can say and do as he pleases without it really affecting me at all as a Toon supporter. I'm neither his mother nor his keeper. Mind you as an Admin he has less chance of being booted off The Forum than you do because of his opinions and the views he holds, as he is not a member. Satisfied? Lights Oot! |
