Been reading some interesting stuff from Stoke supporters....Pulis divides their opinions almost as much as APee does at The Toon. Never liked his approach to football, but I will give him credit for keeping them in the Premier League when quite a few so called experts thought he would fail. Which kind of begs the question will whoever takes over manage to do the same...? Lights Oot! When he took them over they were like a lot of other teams in the championship like Nottingham Forest, Leeds, the Sheffield teams, etc. He came in and put his own stamp on the team and won promotion. Pulis seemed to like big strapping players, playing a robust type of game and really did quite well given the circumstances. As you say will the new guy do as well? ATB

one thing Pardew did a pretty good job of figuring oot how to tactically play Pulois's kickers and scrappers. With someone new in charge Pards will be lost yet again against a different style. Tactics ain't the bus drivers strong suit
