Doubt he's going to get the sack before the end of the season. This particular loss though probably has turned the most fans against him and put his position in question. Will his days be numbered now? I surely hope so as he still manages to bring the team backwards despite the players he has.
They will review his performance in the summer and most likely he will still be here after the summer window is closed.
But if he still fails to get any results by then? Who knows.

Simmer down peeps! Yes we were beaten - we are never going to win every game and yes DiCanio was up for it. The new manager factor is and always has been an influence like no other.
Captain - We didn't turn up - it has happened before and it will happen again with or without Pardew.
And yes I also blame Canny!!!
BTW - A big thank you to Canny, White Light and Polly for making the weekend a time to remember regardless of the p*ss poor team performance. Brilliant guys who i am privliged and honoured to have met.

Fairsy got some pix of yer training sesson, my son has the same shirt you were wearing in the picture, Canny brought it back from one of his trips over. My son wore it to school and got booked because of the Beer Icon on it. He tried to explain it's a footie shirt but FN American teachers just don't get it..........A-holes Some great pics of Lights oot, You, Polly and Churchill ;D ;D ;D

Captain, the truth is that Canny and I have met up 4 times and have yet to see the Toon win. Best time was West Brom we were leading 3 -0 at the break, Canny fell asleep and when he woke up it was 3-3. Broon, I've been after that shirt for years. Has always been my favourite. Found it now at JD Sport but don't tell anyone

Been far too downtrodden to make any comments about this weekend's massacre...I had been having nightmare's about it the evening before, but nothing that prepared me for what I actually watched.
As an aside, not that we want to re-hash the horse-punching incident (and I certainly didn't want to give it its own thread)...but when I first saw the video, it was on my iPhone and a little bit grainy...and the words that came out of my mouth, following an audible gasp were:
"OH F***...please tell me that's not Canny!!!"
It took me two or three re-watches until I was comfortable enough to carry on with my day, certain it wasn't him...although I'm still not certain he's made it back to America yet...

He is back safe and sound Mac, spoke to him last night. But PSML I had the same fears when I saw it first off. The guy looks short like wor Canny and a bit bow legged and I remember Canny getting getting up in some Bin Dippers mush in the Philly Pub after taking too much stick from the tosser! But in retro speck we all know Canny's a lover not a fighter............just ask Alphonse

Been some really brutal stuff posted on FB by the mackems this ain't gonna die soon anytime near I'm afraid. But some clever Mackem, and there's not too many of them took that picture of the car burning and put Mr. Bean on an armchair on top of the car driving through it................PSML............most of the other stuff was rubbish, Pardew and a sheep blah blah blah. How long till we play'em again? Not soon enough I'm afraid............
