In an official announcement from St. James Park today Newcastle United FC held a news conference to preview some of the festivities for Derby Day vs Sunderland. Karaoke singing sensation Mr. C. Hadawayanshite and his two associates, Miss Lisa Largejugs and Miss Plenty O’Tool have been chosen to sing Blaydon Races at St. James Park prior to the Derby. Mr. C, a native son from Ashington UK has been living in the US but is coming home to Newcastle, the club he has supported since a boy, to sing our beloved song. Mr. C’s fan club from the Singing Pub “Waldo’s” in Scranton Pa. sent tapes of his crooning to the FCB explaining the expat Geordie was coming over for the Mackem Match and would be honored to sing at St. James Park. When questioned on what the event meant to him Mr. C. said, “It’s a dream come true for any Geordie. I’d like to thank the lasses in my Waldo’s fan club, my manager Mr. Broonaleman and me mom. It’s going to be the biggest day of my life, singing and then watching the lads go out and trash the unwashed………brilliant”. Also in attendance will be Mr. C’s training partners, Mr. Polly Peterborough, Fartsy and Lights Out. Club officials refused to comment on Mr. C’s dodgy pony tail. Attachments:

You sure this wasn't ghost written by The Superman in the Mac or Natt? If not then it's truly inspired and I would have been well pleased to have penned it myself. WL

WL High praise from all shipmates.............thanks but truth be told the inspiration really comes from knowing the four musketeers will be in attendance on Derby Day. I will be the fifth in mind and spirit cheering and hollering right alone with them. Howay the Forum Lads!

Natt you simply came to mind because you have previously mentioned your aspiration to become a professional writer. Nothing more, nothing less and no suggestion you may be a hidden associate of the Dog lover. So now any confusion has been cleared up you can perhaps rest easy that your Karma may also not be at risk of a secret smite attack. WL
