I go along with CW but hope that a top striker (Wilf Boney?) will be also be on our books and able to make an appearance by then.
Certainly mouthwatering times ;D

Too bad both Slowla Immobile and Donkey Jonás will play from start today. At least that is what I suspect.
I'm pretty sure we'll see Yanga-Mbiwa and Gouffran on the bench. Will Sissoko start? Probably. Hopefully.

A win for once. Just like every other game though we weren't there in the second half.
Sissoko is a top four player. Easily.
Right now it feels like he and Cabaye has to carry the team.

Feels good to beat them too as Villa decided to resort to thug tactics in the second half. Looked like Dean had completely lost the plot to me too.

Thought it was Stoke the second half. Was not a penalty on Debucy either. Nervy ending. WTF is he putting Slowla on? I haven't a clue . . .

Why were Alain Depardew and Jonas kissing and cuddling at the end? If he'd played well I could understand it or was it because the spiderman kept his cool?

Very pleased with the win and three points although that second half was a grind... Thing is the side didn't fold as we have seen during other games. That said some reports and comments from our own fans saying we were lucky. Hells teeth we beat a side worse than us away from home and we are now lucky FFS. Villa were never in it during that first half, barring one terrific effort from N'Zog which crashed off the post. Lambert changed it around at half time and put The Toon under pressure. Mind you the penalty was soft to say the least. More positives to take from this result than negatives, however the real test comes Saturday against Chelski. WL
