By far the gentleman and best poster of the forum. Broon it was a pleasure too. This is Magpie signing off. Magpie...it would be easy to swim on by on this one, but alas, I cannot. Reading the above , an outsider would assume that you had been hounded off the forum. They may not realize that this is your second time around after a similar "break" last year, that followed similar responses and reactions to your posts . First time around I tried to help you personally with advice on how to not set about antagonizing other posters, and this followed a visit where you met forum members in the Toon for a game.(Not me though). On your re-entry to the forum this time around, you slowly returned to your old style and through several PM's back and forward between us I again tried to counsel you and allay your frustrations.It worked for a while , until my patience ran out, and I could no longer even bear to look at your posts, never mind answer them. This then deteriorated on my part badly, culminating in a drunken tirade of abuse last night. I again apologize for that...the delivery but not the sentiment. Respect is a 2 way street.........also people are different and have different buttons when pressed that agitate them............I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you do not take these experiences to heart and warp your future life. Keep the faith. |
