OK Guys Ive been reading through this thread and I'll make a few points here. Firstly whilst I appreciate that the football section is a lively section things are getting a bit close to the mark now. Roma has been left modding the forum in the absence of any one else on here and she has been doing a great job-I take a dim view of her being undermined as both a woman and as a mod-let me tell you she will have my full support on any action she deems necessary. I can appreciate banter/disagreements-however once it starts to cause offence then that becomes a different matter and I dont think remarks referring to either age or gender in a disparaging way regardless of which way it goes have a place on this thread. Yes I can understand people wanting to be free to say what they want-however I'll post a reminder that as a member of this forum each person also agreed to the T and Cs. I also take a dim view of threats made-veiled or otherwise.So lets stop the invites to forum meets as a means to try and sort anyone out right now. Can I suggest you all take a deep breath and a few steps back here-I can see emotions are running high but this thread will be locked if it continues in this vein  |

Canny- I am not a great contributer to the footie section as you all know but I did a good long stint on the HYS Chronnie section over years and boy was that a bloody experience-altho I did sneak a look in now and again at Ann1's recommendation I dont know all the old histories and I dont know even now who knew whom,who gets on with who-lol you guys get me so bloody confused sometimes-but coming back in I can see where this is going and its not good. I think once things start going a certain way everyone gets pulled in and so easily done-how many times have I done that A number of people have said things in the heat of the moment and I get that-but there are also things said that I feel are inflammatory and I'll be watching that too. |
