Who switched Perch to DMF? Pardew did via the phone.
Who made the substitutes? Pardew via the phone.
Who decided on every tactical change during the match? Pardew via phone and in the dressing room at half time.
Yes, Carver was down there shouting for once instead of Pardew, but were we any better? No.

No. Did you hear AP admit he didn't decide who would take the pens?!! A manager not knowing his pen takers! He never even had a list! That missed pen could have cost us a lot more. Well neither did Carver. So I don't see your point.
There's no defending Pardew on that he assumed that the players themselves would know if they could take a penalty or not.
The first penalty taker when he is on should always be Shola anyway... the rest haven't been impressing with their penalties if you ask me.
Ba misses as many as he scores and Ben Arfa has only scored one and it would have been a miss if the keeper had guessed it right.

JC was in Arfa's ear for him letting Cisse take the pen (aren't you reading reports?). AP calmly deflected the blame to his players....! I agree Shola is a great pen taker. But how is the Mackem Slayer to get a game let alone a penalty before over-hyped Senegalese misfiring strikers! |

Let's face it Seb. When things go right we have Carver to thank whilst when it goes pearshaped, it is all Pardews fault! Simples really,  As to our feathered friend's question concerning Slowly, I would suggest we ask Carver. He, in the feathered one's opinion, is the one steering the ship as long as AP is sitting in the stands.  |
