Strange to find Pardew letting it be known that Ba could activate the release clause again?
Who in their right mind agreed to this farcical contact? Ok their was a release clause at the begining maybe that was put in place because of the possibility Ba`s knee did not stand up to the rigours but to agree to reinstate the clause is rank stupidity.

Don't think the contract was ever re-negotiated Capt. Could be that the same clause just kicks in for a certain period each time the window opens.
