Is that a bit of forum fishing there Fairsy? Interesting to see the size of bait Canny used in that first picture to catch that Flossie.... CWL  Not at all CWL - two of my reasons for not choosing 100% retirement are to avoid pastimes like fishing and golf.  |

Fairsy, will agree with you on golf as in my younger days I caddied for old time duffers as a way of earning money. Golf on TV may be the most boring thing other than bowling. But spending and afternoon in a boat with Canny, listening to him recall his Eshington terrorist days as the "little waster" is great fun. Then followed by a night on the tiles at Waldos, getting home just in time fer NUFC on the big Samsung.........it don't get much better mate! ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Canny claims to have hooked a fish so large it pulled him up and down the fishing pier before gettin off. Perhaps reet oot of his shoes. Then again in fishing there is always the story of the "one" that got away. BTW, just what the hell is a Flossie?  |

In light of the International break and those complaining how boring the bottom of the forum has been.............I've decided to upload some pics of the fish caught by Canny on Holiday and some caught by Broon recently. Canny emailed his pics to Broon and because Canny has proclaimed technical decencies in the past Broon will do the honors. By now everyone knows the tales of Waldos and the boys love of drink and chasing d*ckheads about but there is another side to these two rascals..........their love fer fishin! ;D Whats a technical decency?..........Does this mean I am a nice guy?.....I knew it! |
