The following is borrowed from the official NUFC website... www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20120831/europa-league-fixtures-announced_2281670_2906318Newcastle United will kick off their Europa League campaign with a trip to the island of Madeira to face Maritimo on Thursday, 20th September. After starting away at Maritimo, who play in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, United then have back-to-back home games against Bordeaux (4th October) and Brugge (25th October). On 8th November the Magpies are back on their travels, heading to Brugge, before taking on Maritimo on Tyneside (22nd November) and finishing off away in Bordeaux (6th December). CWL |
