Free agent Michael Owen says he is still confident of securing a move to the Premier League before the transfer window closes in three days time, according to the Guardian.

Owen, 32, was released by the Old Trafford club after three years there. He is thought to be of interest to Stoke City and Everton, with Stoke manager Tony Pulis commenting that he is a “great admirer” of Owen and would potentially be a useful addition alongside Peter Crouch.

Canny has hated MO ever since the bastard scored an offside goal against NUFC at Wembley. I was with Canny in Philly many years ago to watch a live satillite feed of the game. When Owen scored Canny's son hollered oot, "well i guess there's no offsides at Wembley". NUFC went on to lose 2-0 FFS

I'd be dammed if any PL manager offers to take him on? I know one manager stupid enough to do so...The best judge of a striker! Tony Pulis! I hope he takes on Owen and then Owen's metatarsal explodes like a time bomb in Pulis's face and they get relegated!
